sometime in june 2013 whilst sitting in an industrial unit in central bedfordshire, inspired by the noises surrounding him Metro started to record…. compressors, lathes, lorries, cars, printers, plotters, cutters, staplers, people…. the idea to create a track solely from these found sounds was formed and Industrial Unit was the outcome.

this concept progressed into almost a bit of an obsession recording whatever, whenever if it caught his ear…. a wet hand sliding down a towel rail together with a classic sound bite from a classic film that jogged his memory of an early rave tune…. a crackling fire, and a tap of a finger on a fire extinguisher to sirens, jet washers, hand dryers and a faulty air freshener in a club toilet.

two further tracks were spawned again using limited software instruments if any and letting the rawness of the sounds come through.
